Alastair is a Consultant and member of the Property research team.
Prior to joining JANA in 2014, Alastair worked at Federation Centres (formally Centro Properties Group) as an unlisted property fund manager, responsible for a retail property portfolio across Australia and the United States. Prior to Federation Centres, Alastair was a project manager for Carson Group (now part of Coffey Group), and a project engineer at Lycopodium.
Alastair holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
Andrew is a Senior Consultant and a member of the Australasian Equities Research Team (AERT).
Before joining JANA in 2015, Andrew worked at Crowe Horwath Australasia as a Senior Research Analyst. His responsibilities included fund manager and listed equity research, model portfolio construction and delivering investment market and economic presentations. Prior to Crowe Horwath, Andrew worked at Zenith Investment Partners as an Investment Analyst where he undertook fund manager research across all asset classes.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business (Financial Risk Management / International Trade) and has successfully completed the Level 1 exam of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
Angela is a Senior Consultant and a member of the Infrastructure Research Team and the Direct Investment Unit.
Prior to joining JANA in 2018, Angela spent three years in the Westpac Project Finance team, participating in a number of large privatisations, including successfully financing regulated utilities, transport infrastructure and renewable energy. Angela also has eight years’ experience with Hastings as an assistant fund manager, asset manager and originator as well as having board roles on PPP projects and transport infrastructure including airports, ports and rail.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Adelaide, a graduate certificate from FINSIA, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a CFA charterholder and a CPA.
Anthony leads JANA’s investment research function across asset classes to maximise investment outcomes for our clients and their beneficiaries. Anthony is also responsible for the continuous improvement and evolution of our manager and strategy research, ensuring the delivery of investment insights and implementation of best ideas is achieved - ultimately driving superior long term investment outcomes for clients.
Anthony previously held the role of Head of JANA’s Australian Equities Team and was responsible for capital markets, investment manager research and portfolio construction for the asset class across JANA’s client base.
In addition to leading JANA’s research function, Anthony also has a Consulting role at JANA. His experience includes providing advice for a range of clients across JANA’s traditional asset consulting and implemented consulting client base.
Anthony joined JANA in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) degree from Monash University.
Ben is currently a Investment Analyst in the Quantitative Applications Research team and is a member of the Operations Support Group, having previously worked on the Implemented Consulting side of the business, as well as being a former member of Global Equity Research team at JANA.
Before transferring to JANA, Ben worked for the NAB in Group Economic Capital, after completing the NAB Graduate Development Program, which included roles in custody, institutional banking and operations. Prior to this Ben worked in Japan for 4 years and in New Zealand in a small business venture.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, a Bachelor of Design from Massey University and a Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional.
