Danielle is the Head of JANA’s Retirement Research Team and has been undertaking Retirement Research at JANA since 2010. Danielle is an experienced Senior Consultant with a broad range of client consulting experience as well as research experience across a range of asset classes including Global Equities, Fixed Interest, Private Equity, Portfolio Construction and Responsible Investment.
Prior to joining JANA in 2008, Danielle was a Strategy Analyst at MLC which involved delivering structured communication, including reports, presentations and business cases to the Head of Strategy and CEO. Danielle also completed the two-year MLC Graduate Program and undertook internships at MLC and Ernst & Young as part of her tertiary education.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Accounting (majoring in Finance and Accounting) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Danielle is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is a member of Women in Super.
David consults to a range of industry superannuation funds and is a member of the Fixed Interest Research team.Prior to joining JANA, David worked as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Dimensional Fund Advisor, a US asset manager. During the 6 years at Dimensional, he managed a range of equity and fixed interest investment strategies.
Before joining finance, David was employed in the logistics industry, optimizing container shipping routes in the Asia Pacific region.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Technology, Darmstadt in Germany. He also completed a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of New South Wales and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
David is a Senior Consultant and a member of the Responsible Investment Research Team.
David brings over twenty years of experience across a broad expanse of the finance industry including from frontline Business Banking through to Corporate Strategy. Prior to JANA, David was Senior Manager, Research Relationships for NAB Asset Management Boutiques and prior to that Senior Manager, NAB Corporate Strategy based in the UK.
David holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management UK, a Bachelor of Economics from University of Sydney and a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University.
David is a Senior Consultant, joining JANA from the New Zealand Superannuation Fund in June 2016.
David was a Senior Investment Strategist at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund covering credit markets, alternative beta strategies, infrastructure and alternative energy, and arbitrage strategies.
Before joining NZ Superannuation Fund, David was a Portfolio Manager at Dimensional Fund Advisors in Sydney.
David holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, an Honors degree in Applied Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Auckland.
Duncan is the Head of Consulting, which involves ensuring our Consultants provide clients with the highest possible level of service.
Duncan has previously been a senior member within the Australian Equities Research Team, former Head of our Property Research Team and a member of the JANA Research Committee.
Before joining JANA in 2007, Duncan spent 12 years with the NAB Superannuation Fund as Assistant Fund Secretary and Finance Manager, which included responsibility for the Investment Function of the Fund. Amongst other responsibilities the role involved managing a direct property portfolio and general oversight of the Fund’s investments. Duncan has held positions on Investor Boards and Advisory Boards of both property and Infrastructure Funds.
Duncan has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investments, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Business. Duncan is also a Fellow of the FINSIA and a member of CPA.
