Ed is a Senior Consultant and a member of the Fixed Interest Research Team. Ed joined JANA in October of 2016 and has 15 years’ experience in the investment consulting and asset management industry.
Prior to joining JANA, Ed was an Investment Consultant at Whitehelm Capital where he was responsible for macroeconomic, global investment grade credit, and multi-asset class manager research. Before that Ed lived in London for six years, working in the Investment Consulting division at Mercer and also Towers Watson. He also spent time as the Head of Consultant Relations for GE Asset Management in Europe.
Ed has a Masters in Applied Finance & Investments and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He has also completed the Certified Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) program and is Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
Gary is a Senior Consultant and member of JANA’s Portfolio Construction Research Team and also our Capital Markets Group which has ultimate responsibility for JANA’s asset allocation advice.
Prior to joining JANA in 2008, Gary was a Senior Financial Adviser at Snowball Group where he provided portfolio advice to high net worth retail investors. He has previously served as a Director of the Qantas Superannuation Plan and was Chairman of the Qantas Superannuation Plan Investment Committee from 2003 to 2006.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Finance) from the University of NSW and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
Georgina is JANA’s Head of Business Strategy and Transformation. In this role, one of Georgina’s key areas of focus is looking at how we can continue to further improve client outcomes within our existing and future business by effective use of technology enabled resources.
Georgina has had a number of client and research responsibilities since joining JANA in 2008. Georgina was previously the Head of Implemented Consulting clients, with overall responsibility for JANA’s wide range of institutional Implemented Consulting clients, and prior to that was Head of the Alternative Investment Strategies research team.
Prior to joining JANA, Georgina was a Research Analyst at Russell Investment Group with experience working in both the London and Sydney offices. Georgina holds a Masters of Chemistry from Balliol College, Oxford University and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter in 2006.
Greg is a Senior Consultant, Head of Insurance Strategy and a member of JANA’s Global Equities Research Team.
Greg provides investment advice on strategy, asset allocation and manager selection to a number of JANA’s clients including superannuation funds, health insurers and charities. Prior to joining JANA in early 2014, Greg was a consultant at Rice Warner Actuaries where he worked extensively with Australian superannuation funds and insurance companies. Greg’s experience in the financial services industry of over 24 years includes 12 years working as a defined benefit actuary in the UK.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Science (majoring in Actuarial Science and Statistics) from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified actuary.
Harry consults to superannuation, corporate funds, and charities at JANA.
Prior to joining JANA in 2021, Harry was a Business Development Manager in the financial services sector at GlobalData. During this period Harry was responsible for growing GlobalData’s presence with fund managers across APAC.
Prior to GlobalData, Harry spent two years working at Private Equity International in the UK liaising between and building relationships with global Institutional Investors and General Partners across the alternative asset classes.
Harry holds a Masters of Management from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Exeter.
