JANA appoints former NYSE program manager as Head of Technology and Operations

One of Australia’s largest investment consulting firms, JANA, has announced a major hire as it expands its digital transformation team with the appointment of Ann-Mary Rajanayagam as Head of Technology and Operations.

Ms Rajanayagam joins JANA following an established career leading large-scale enterprise initiatives in America, most recently at New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Previously Ms Rajanayagam held implementation delivery and product management roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, NAB and BT Financial Group.

Ms Rajanayagam will oversee JANA’s technology and operations, with a focus on governance, process, and developing the consultancy’s digital strategy, including vendor management and business efficiency.

JANA has increased its spend on its digital capabilities significantly in recent years, investing in and developing a set of tools, data and systems to drive deeper value and efficiencies for its clients.

Speaking on her appointment, Ashleigh Crittle, Chief Operating Officer at JANA said, “Ms Rajanayagam has an extraordinary background working for some of the world’s most dynamic financial institutions.
