JANA Webinar: Biodiversity: the growing case for nature-positive investing

Biodiversity loss is emerging as a key risk particularly given the global economy’s dependence on it and its interconnection to climate change risks.

In the last month, we have seen the launch of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and G7 leaders committing to the global mission to halt and reverse biodiversity loss by 2030.

The TNFD is expected to take the same path as the TCFD (Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure) in requiring corporations and financial institutions to disclose and report on nature-related physical and transition risks, with the ultimate objective of reallocating global funds to nature-positive investments.

In this webinar, JANA will provide an overview of biodiversity, introduce the TNFD process and implications, and look at the potential risks and opportunities for asset owners.
